I didn’t originally see Dr Sira, but after a blood test, that evening he rung & text me with the results & medication I need to collect asap, he then asked to see me before I went away on holiday to see how I was. I have recently transferred over to North Brink practice from the Clarkson surgery & have been suffering for the past year. Now I am getting sorted & my mental health is improving. I couldn’t thank you more.

I would have liked this doctor to listen properly to what I was telling him and look over my long-term engagement with the surgery. He might then have been able to diagnose a very serious, terminal illness - right in front of him - which will now end my life imminently. I think it is extremely important for doctors, such as those at this surgery, to see each patient as a person who is loved and cherished, and who deserves due consideration of their needs. My condition was eventually diagnosed after sitting in A&E for 8 hours on a Friday night and being accused of queue-jumping to get a CT scan. I am 86. All I want is even a small pang of belated concern or conscience, which might lead to better, professional treatment for other patients. That is all.
